Tuition is $225; Weave members get a discount\, just ask! \nDescription: \nIf you’re not teaching it\, there’s not much point in assessing it! Learn why curriculum maps are increasingly considered essential to successful assessment and\, even more importantly\, to successful student learning. We’ll review some fundamental principles for creating meaningful learning experiences and curricula. We’ll then practice some of the steps in creating and analyzing curriculum maps for courses\, programs\, and general education curricula. \nPresentation Outcomes/Takeaways: \nExplain why curriculum maps are a good idea.\nArticulate the characteristics of great learning experiences and a great curriculum.\nCreate course and program curriculum maps.\nAnalyze a program or general education curriculum map.\nWe hope to see you!
